Goals and Pintrest

My Goals for this blog:
A Daily Babble - To get back in the groove of writing again; a very public free write.
Reviews of Local Eateries - My husband D and I love to eat out, Madison is a foodietropolis. Yum!
Recipes of Family Yumness - The things I cook on a regular basis for the Fam.
Book Reviews - I read as often as I can. I am also trying to read outside my favorite genres.

I usually never make goals, because I never complete them like I should. I usually just get too distracted by other things. Wait. That's just an excuse. I procrastinate. I make excuses. I'm LAZY! ha. Yeah, I am going to complete these goals. Its written down on my daily list. Oh, my. I've become a list person... O.O

Pintrest! How I love thee... almost as much as I love to hate to love etsy.
I'm kind of addicted to Pintrest. I might end up sharing some of the awesome things I've found from there too. My sister has a few hundred thousand followers. It blows my mind. I think it used to blow her mind too but she's gotten used to the idea. We think that maybe she got tagged in an introductory email. That's how it makes sense to us anyway.

Etsy is also wonderful. I wish I was half as creative as some of these people. It would be amazing to create some of the things that come to mind. I may not have the motivation yet, but maybe one day. Oh Procrastination, you show your face again!

Hark, the cry of Captain Dude'l. *wanders off to feed and diaper the napper*

Big Fat Mess

I've been trying to get my life into some kind of order for years. Which, I guess is pretty funny since I'm not very organized myself. I've had my life knocked out of order, over and over, since I hit puberty. Its been a hard struggle to get where I am today. I've gone from an abused teen to a married mother of two. I've gotten so many bumps and bruises along the way and just when I thought my life was some place great I realized... I'm a big fat mess.

Leap day came and all the walls I built around myself to close off the parts of me that still hurt came tumbling down. I didn't know I could feel as much panic again. I thought I left it all behind me when I 'grew up'. I suppose not. My husband is so supportive, my daughter as well, though my son is just 10 months... he's demanding.

For my family, I'm getting help. For myself, I'm getting help. I'm choosing to make better decisions for us all. I'm choosing to blog about my climb back to the top. I know there are other people out there who are big fat messes. Maybe this blog will help them.
